I just got back from Portland, Oregon, where I attended the IACP conference and although I learned lots of things one thing stuck with me like chewing gum on the sole of my shoe: blogging is all about having a "spirit of generosity". This means that in order to really make a lasting relationship with you, my dear readers, you want me to share my favorite sites with you.
In other words: you want to be invited to my party but also want me to make introductions. And you want to try my recipes and a sampling of my friends' food too.
I am delighted to do this for more than one reason. You will no doubt--being the foodies you are--enjoy these gorgeously scrumptious sites. But mostly, I'm excited to showcase many of my own personal friends' sites. Although I do not know all of the writers personally, I do know most them well and so I feel that in staying true to this "spirit of generosity", I am introducing you to many of my favorite people. More will follow and that's a promise. In the meantime, join me for my first virtual party and meet some of my friends.
