Well my friends, the day is finally here. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this one can give you an idea of how happy I feel today.
After months of speculation, I can now share with you the title and upcoming publishing date of my cookbook!
For me, the process for selecting a title was very similar to that of choosing my children's names. Before they were born, my husband and I had narrowed it down to our favorite names but until that moment when we held them in our arms, those were not set in stone. We listened attentively to the suggestions of others but waited till the very right moment to make the announcement. We kept our decision to ourselves until we knew for sure. It wasn't until we met them, and saw their beautiful little faces, that we knew exactly what to name them.
It was the same with my book. Right from the start, I had an idea of what the book would be called. When I wrote my proposal, we gave it a working title. However, it wasn't until the entire manuscript was finished that we really took to the task of finding it a final title.
I really wanted a title that fit the theme perfectly and a subtitle that explained the spirit of the book in just a few words. It needed to be fun, like the dishes represented, and it had to hint to what awaits you in the pages within.
With the help of a couple of amazing people at my publisher's house the title of my book was born.
I am proud to present:
